About

Rosenberg Abramovich Schneller, Advocates (ROSAK) is a boutique international law firm with many years of experience.

In 1969, senior partner George Rosenberg founded a law firm in Montreal, Canada. The firm specialized in wealth planning and taxation. Six years later, George and his family immigrated to Israel and the firm became international.

In 1995 due to increasing demand, George partnered with Orit Keren-Polak, an experienced litigator to create Rosenberg Keren-Polak, Advocates (ROSAK). In 1998, to deepen its wealth planning, taxation and private banking practices, the firm established a branch in Zurich—the world’s banking center—and created Occidental Trust Corporation (Nevis) and ROSAK Trust Company (Israel) Ltd. a few years later to further add value to its practice and clients.

In 2012, the firm merged with the Avi Abramovich Law Office, a well-known Israeli firm established in 1996, creating Rosenberg Abramovich Keren-Polak, Advocates. Avi brought deep experience in the Israeli market, along with a strong litigation, real estate and corporate practice. Orit has since retired, and Netanel Schneller, of the firm’s real estate practice was promoted to partner. Along the way, other talented partners and associates were hired and promoted. Thus, Rosenberg Abramovich Schneller, Advocates has 48 years of experience and relationships in key areas of practice.

And it continues to grow. Now, with six partners, seven associates, two attorneys of counsel and a branch in Zurich, Switzerland, the firm is a leader in wealth planning for private clients, taxation, private banking & securities regulation, litigation, real estate and corporate & commercial law.  At least one member of the firm corresponds in at least one of the following languages: English, French, German, Italian and Hebrew.

The firm operates today out of these two locations: Israel, in Azrieli Center in Tel Aviv, and in Zurich, Switzerland. The firm’s headquarters in Israel handles domestic-law issues including litigation, corporate law, tax, real estate, and cross-border matters involving foreign residents with interests and companies in Israel, as well as Israeli residents with interests abroad. It is also the center of the firm’s prestigious private client and trust practice, including ROSAK Trust Company (Israel) Ltd. The Zurich branch, headed by partner Inbal Faibish Wassmer counsels clients on trusts, international taxation, banking and international transactions, and serves clients with interests in Israel, from Switzerland and other parts of Europe.

Through the years, the advocates at ROSAK have been active members in several legal organizations, such as the Tel Aviv Bar Association, the Israel Bar Association, the International Bar Association (IBA), the American Bar Association (ABA), the International Tax Planning Association (ITPA), the International Financial Association (IFA), and the International Association for Jewish Lawyers and Jurists (IAJLJ). In addition to membership, George Rosenberg was also one of the founders of the prestigious Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners (STEP), in Israel.

The members of the firm are known as experts. The firm’s attorneys are the authors many articles and publications in leading newspapers and periodicals and of all the Israel materials and data in the Private Banking section and the Financial Products section of the Baker & McKenzie website LawInContext, which deals with all legal aspects relating to these subjects in over thirty-five countries, and the practice areas and attorneys have been recognized as leaders in leading legal publications—such as Globes DUN’s 100, Legal500, and BDICode.

ROSAK offers its clients professional excellence, deep experience and personal attention across a spectrum of legal services.
